Anna Cattan. And What If It Were Impossible to Welcome Singularities in Literacy Courses in France?

Anna Cattan, trainer and researcher, tells the daily experience of working with migrants to help them speak French. The meeting takes place in a language, which she gently calls a “shared French.” Through this, her subtlety and commitment attempt to show why it is so difficult, despite good intentions, to welcome unique individuals when everything pushes to see, instead of them, only “flows,” “waves,” “cohorts,” and abstract populations.
