Educational and social changes in the minority community of Thrace. The contribution of the “Integration and Education of Muslim Children” Program

The article focuses on the specific characteristics of the educational context in which the Program was called upon to intervene: the specific social conditions, economic deprivation, low educational level of parents, geographical and social isolation, gender-based cultural inhibitions of a closed traditional society, and the foreign language spoken by minority students.
