Silence serves as both a material and a form of language, culturally indexed, moreover, it is the condition for the possibility of any subjective, desiring speech. This paper proposes a concept of silence that intertwines semiotics and clinical practice, aiming to explore how the praxis of cooperative classes in institutional pedagogy can be understood through the lens of silence as an essential condition of their ethics: taking into account the individual’s singular desire beyond the surface of doxic educational discourses.
