Based on the short story by Sotiris Dimitriou, the film follows three Northern Epirote migrants who cross the Greek-Albanian border on foot, hoping to build a better life in Athens. Their journey exposes them to the harsh realities of poverty, marginalization, and racism in urban Greece. The death of one of them in a workplace accident becomes the emotional climax of the narrative, prompting the others to return to their village. The film offers a poignant commentary on the limits of endurance, the migrant experience, and the fragile promise of integration.
