The proposed activity aims to raise questions through the analysis of Vlassis Kaniaris’ work. His art focuses on the sociology of the real, exploring the conditions during the occupation and the post-civil war period in Greece, as well as the conditions of migrants in Europe. Through works such as Koutso and the Migrants series, Kaniaris uses plaster forms and symbols to depict the sense of social injustice, social exclusion, and the exploitation of workers, while linking his works to contemporary political oppression.
