“The Other”

In the school of a mountainous village of Crete, in Patsideros, Heraklion, there are five Albanian and one Greek child. Xenophobia and racism appear inside and outside the school and concern the small village community. The teacher has just returned to his place of origin to offer his services to the school he himself attended. He tries every day with humanity, stoicism and love to respond to the needs of the children and to achieve balance and social coexistence in the school and in the small local community.
