This study analyzes the dynamics of irregular migration from Albania to Greece, focusing on influencing factors and the effectiveness of control policies. Through empirical research, it examines migrants’ routes, intermediaries, crossing costs, and the impact of the economic crisis on migrants’ legal status. The study highlights the role of migration networks and transnationalism, while assessing the effectiveness of Greece’s migration policy.
