The professional identity of second generation teachers from Albania

This study investigates the professional identity of second-generation teachers of Albanian origin, focusing on how factors such as ethnic identity, gender, and social class influence its formation. Through qualitative research, it analyzes their experiences during schooling, family attitudes towards education, university studies, and relationships with colleagues and students. The study highlights the challenges and strategies they adopt to manage their otherness within the educational environment.​
